Our Senior Pastor

Christopher V. Jones, a dedicated servant who embarked on his journey with StartNew StartNow Church in the refreshing season of Spring, 2018. A warm-hearted people person, Christopher finds immense joy in connecting with new faces and delving into the profound teachings of the Word of God. His spiritual odyssey commenced in the heart of Memphis, TN, back in 1996, setting the foundation for a life devoted to faith and service.

Christopher firmly believes that the true essence of a church's strength lies in its unified efforts, working harmoniously to fulfill the divine purposes set by God. His commitment to this principle fuels his conviction that the church thrives when it embraces collective cooperation.

Guided by love, Christopher shares a sacred bond with his cherished wife, embodying the very essence of partnership, trust, and unwavering companionship. Their journey has blossomed into a beautiful family, including four wonderful children and an extraordinary dog whose presence is nothing short of miraculous.

A proud alumnus of Mississippi Valley State University, Christopher has cultivated a strong academic background that he blends seamlessly with his extensive ministry experience. His journey has been one of constant growth, leading him to become a Certified Church Executive through StartChurch University. His ministerial endeavors began in 1996, culminating in the esteemed role of Lead Pastor at Greater Bethlehem Temple Church, where his ordained ministry ignited in 2005.

Outside his pastoral duties, Christopher's heart finds solace in quality family time, actively supporting those in need, and extending a hand of encouragement to others. Passionate about collective achievements, he thrives on teamwork to usher in a greater good for the expansion of God's Kingdom.
